We had an open blowoff hydrant shut off near Hwy 2 and 20 Rd. If you come across a blowoff hydrant flushing, Please, do not shut it off. We have these flushing as part of our process to get chlorination through our system and minimizing the amount of mineral sediments. Shutting them off will only prolong the boil order that has already been a major inconvenience. Thank you.

We are going to begin chlorinating the water system tomorrow morning. This could cause mineral sediments in the main lines to break loose which will cause colored water. Please exercise caution the next few days with delicate laundries. During this process we will be flushing to help minimize this possible issue. Once chlorination has filled our system, tests will be sent in for residual (specific amount of chlorine in water required by DEQ). Once DEQ is satisfied with results they will release us from the boil order. Thank you for your extreme patience and understanding during this inconvenient boil order.

Update 12/27/24
BOIL ORDER STILL IN EFFECT
Boil your water for 1 minute before drinking, preparing food, etc. or use bottled water.
DEQ has mandated us to chlorinate our water system. We are in process of completing these requirements. Once completed DEQ will review and once they are satisfied, release us from the boil order. Thank you for your patience.
